Internet Explorer - Repair
If you are having problems with Internet
Explorer (IE) or Outlook Express (OE), then the first thing to try is
the repair.
As Microsoft has acknowledged the
Federal Government as to the exclusivity of IE, the repair point may be
in one of
two places.
The first would be Control
Panel, Add/remove software. Scroll down looking for Microsoft
Internet Explorer. If there,
click on it to select and then click on the Remove button. It
will bring up a window with one of the options to repair IE.
Select that and follow the instructions on the screen.
If its not there, then go to Start,
Run and enter MSInfo32 and press enter. On the top tool bar is a
Tools option. Click
on that option and in that menu is the repair IE option. Choose that
and again, follow the instructions on the screen.
